After we left Arizona 3 years ago I figured I would change our blog address, associating it with our current location. We've lived in 3 different states since then and for once, my procrastination has been beneficial. I'll never have to change arizonanielsens.blogspot.com to anything different. Our little family started in Arizona... and now we're headed back!
Without talking to each other, Eric and I each always thought in the back our minds that we would end up back in Arizona one day. A few weeks after Ethan was born, we were informed (via a paper taped to the front door) that our landlord was letting our home go into foreclosure. Knowing that we would need to move to a new house by the end of the year, we sat down and discussed the option of going back to Arizona. Within a few weeks, Eric had plenty of jobs to apply to, a handful of interviews and job offers at every place he interviewed with.
We are very sad to leave our friends in Colorado. The area, school and ward have been fantastic and we have made wonderful friends that have acted as family to us. But... in the last few months, every opportunity that we have wished for has been handed to us. We are excited to get started on the rest of our lives.
So, we've moved 3,289 miles through 4 states
to get right back where we started...
And we've loved every minute of our journey.

That's awesome! We live in the East Valley now (Gilbert), but if you needed a place to stay while you look at homes you're more than welcome to crash here!
I sure wish I could move back there with you guys. It would be so much fun to be there together again.
