Vanessa had her 12 month check-up yesterday.
She's 19 pounds and 28 inches
which puts her in around the 20th percentile.
I never thought I'd have a little one after having
monster Savannah.
Tears were only shed for 1 of 3 shots
which is pretty impressive.
Two milestones were hit today.
The video shows them both.

I'm sure you caught that she's a walking pro now.
The second is a little more subtle.
Did you see that drink in her hand?
Chocolate milk to be exact.
The weaning process has begun and no better way than to
sweeten the deal with a little chocolate.
She's not too sure how she feels about the change yet
but I'm sure she'll do better than Savvy ever did.
Now on to my human jukebox.
Savannah is a singing maniac.
She's constantly singing to herself or Vanessa and
I just love the sound of it.
Eric is working late tonight
so the girls and I are taking a personal vacation
from showers and combed hair
in order to finish unpacking and clean up this place.
We paused for some pizza and Savannah started
singing her little heart out.
I know many of you will recognize the song;
some may not:

wish they were still here! I can't believe Vanessa just took off - amazing! and Savvy sings that song better every time! Good job to all!
Good job Vanessa!! I love Savvy's song!! (and her messy face!)
Very cute!
My favorite part is how she completely stops singing to say "bless you" to Vanessa. They're both pretty dang cute!
