Growing up

I tried to get Savvy to pose for a picture

in one of her new dresses.
She refused, like normal.
She finally decided to cover her eyes
so that we couldn't see her.
These are the best shots.
Yessa (as her big sister calls her)
is well on her way to becoming a big girl!
Walking is a piece of cake now--
that happened fast.
She squats down to pick things up,
stands up in the middle of the room,
and pivots to turn around
without a hesitation.
She waves goodbye to us
and hugs her toys as she carries them around.
Her new favorite thing to do is stand up in her highchair.
No matter how tight we tie her in,
she's standing up within seconds.

Now if only I knew what to feed her
to keep her from growing up anymore.
