I'm almost caught up

Life seems to be flying by lately. I've already been the Young Womens President for over a month and I feel like I am just barely starting to get the hang of everything. While I've been working on that, my house and family have definitely suffered. There have been fewer dinners and more messes. We've had major fiascoes with both cars that have kept me at home more than normal. I'm behind on birthday presents and cards, which is no fun for the people who should have received gifts for their birthday. I've been tagged by other blogs 43 times (or some large number like that) and still haven't followed through. I spent some time sprucing up the house... I guess after living here for a year I was ready to make it feel a little more home-y. We also took some family pictures-- the first time I've taken my family to do that since we've been married-- that I wanted hung in the house. But Halloween is over in a week and then I'll have to redecorate again! Now that I'm done with that, I'm trying really hard to cross things off of my never-ending craft and project list as well as keep my girls entertained. Savannah is just dying for more attention which she should be getting from me. Vanessa is ready to eat solid foods all the time and is not so fond of playing on the floor if it means that I'm going to walk out of room. I can't complain, though. I'm a stay-at-home mom to two adorable girls who I just can't get enough of. My husband works hard all day to take care of all of our needs and still comes home ready to play. Savvy asks me all day long, "Daddy home?" Not yet... only 7 more hours. We're ready for Halloween, though. My uncle Ken got Savvy a USC cheerleading outfit that she thinks is "beau-ful." She loved wearing it to the ward Halloween party even though she was a monster the whole time. Today she and I made a skeleton craft to hang on the door and we have more crafts to do all week long leading up to the big day.
And one funny picture I wanted to share... I curled Savvy's hair out the other day because Eric likes it that way. Can you tell how Savvy feels about it? I didn't think she'd be concerned about her looks until the teenage years.

Jenny, I love your scrapbooking slideshow! You are really good. I love to scrapbook, even though I am WAY behind. Your right, food and fun does help when your away from your fam. When both of our fams get a second we should get together and do dinner and play games or something. I'm sure the girls would love to play together.
Cute blog!

Your decor looks great and I love Savvy's curled hair-if only Kiley would let me get close to her hair...

It looks like you're still the same Jenny - trying to do a million things each day. Keep up the great work! By the way, I love Savvy's hair flipped out.

Looks like you're still the Jenny, as crafty and on top of everything as always! I love Savy's hair like that she looks too cute! And footy p.j.'s...I wish I had some! p.s. is that a wood craft that your mom did of the pumpkins by your door? She gave me a couple of things for my wedding I need to know where or who to talk to, to get some more! I love those kind of decorations, but they're too expensive to buy in the store, plus they never look as cute or original!
