I survived!!! I have made it through my first day at home with two kids. It actually went extremely well, which means that tomorrow may be a different story.
Vanessa slept 7 solid hours last night. I was actually surprised when Eric's alarm went off this morning and I hadn't moved all night. She woke up at 6, ate some breakfast and went right back to sleep. I figured that I wouldn't have much free time today, so I took a shower and then Savvy was up at 7:30 to watch cartoons and eat cereal. From then until 3:30 in the afternoon, I only had one kid at a time... the other one was always sleeping. And I even had about 45 minutes where both of them were sleeping. When they were both awake, Savvy just wanted to play with the baby (peek-a-boo is her favorite-- we just have to watch it when Savvy tries to cover up the baby!) We went outside for a walk and by the time we were done, dad was home! The ward is providing meals for us this week, which is wonderful, and Eric is home every evening this week as well, so I think that I am going to survive this mother-of-two thing.

Here are some more pictures. I'm trying to post as often as possible since all of our family live far away and Vanessa changes so much every day.

I'm glad to hear you survived! I'm sure you are doing a wonderful job! Those girls are both adorable!
Hey I made my blog private, I think I invited everyone, if I didn't email me and let me know. christine.mair@gmail.com
Way to go Jenny! I had no doubts that you'd be able to handle two kids. Although I'm sure the thought at first was a little scary. I can't believe she slept 7 hours, that's amazing! She is so tiny, those outfits are huge on her. I think it's great that Savvy wants to help with her, they will have so much fun playing with each other.
Yahoo! the first day is the hardest! Sounds like you are going to have many good days to come (and probably a few bad)...but the good usually outnumber the bad! Your girls are so cute!
Vanessa is so beautiful!!! I am so happy for you. What a cute little family.
Jenny you look great! I loved seeing Vanessa in person. She and Savvy are both so sweet. I know you'll keep doing a wonderful job.
