Snow Day

We didn't realize until Savannah was halfway ready for school

that school had been cancelled due to the snow we received overnight.
So instead of going to back to bed
(which would have been really nice)
we bundled up and headed outside to play.

We tried sledding, but the snow was so soft that
the girls would sink a few inches into it as soon as they sat on the sled.

Instead, we buried the girls like you would at the beach,
made snow angels and slides and ate plenty of new clean snow.
