Vanessa has started an obsession with
grandmas.
She must be missing her own grandmas
because everywhere we go,
she is on the lookout for them.
She's always saying,
"Look at that grandma!"
"What is that grandma doing?"
"I see a grandma."
And every time, I cross my fingers that she is not
offending some lady out running her errands.
While we were dropping off Savvy at school today,
Vanessa started chatting with a real grandma
who lovingly told her she was beautiful and gave her a hug
just as grandmas are supposed to do.
Looks like we need to make a road trip
to get some love from grandma.

That is really cute.
Dutch started asking about Savvy the other day. And was telling me that she lives really far away now. It made me really miss you guys.
