Denver holds a big Christmas parade downtown every year.
You're supposed to bundle up your kids,
take the train downtown,
walk until you find an empty spot on the sidewalk
and then sit in the wind and cold until the parade starts.
Feel free to freeze your behind off as you watch the entertainment
and then go home... thoroughly frozen.
Well, we did it.
BUT
we were invited by some old Arizona friends
to watch the parade from the comfort of the
4th floor window of their office building.
The girls had a blast riding the train,
walked in the cold (bundled up like it was -40 degrees),
entered the warm office building
and enjoyed every bit of the parade.
Thanks to Laren and Sheilla for a great night
especially the visit with
Santa Claus and his wife!
