'Utah' Bucket List

When we decided to move to Utah
we kind of made a bucket list
of things we would like to do while we're here.
Since we don't plan on staying here forever,
we figured we should see and do every activity possible.
We've done pretty well so far.

We did finally make it to the Utah State Fair in September
where the girls enjoyed acting like farmers,
petting animals and experiencing a few scary rides.
The boys mostly enjoyed the tractor pull
while us girls drooled over fancy sewing machines.
We also met up with Matt, Amanda and Kate
(before their sweet baby was born)
to play at the Aquarium in Sandy.
We always have a great time with those guys.
The girls really enjoyed running around to find
sharks, fish and sting rays.I have also learned how to harvest a garden and can food.
It's been a lot of fun and very educational.
So if you have any questions about how to preserve food,
I can ask my mother-in-law for you.And finally,
Eric and I were hoping to catch a
Utah State Football game
while we were here.
On Friday night,
we watched the Aggies get stomped on by BYU
(which we totally expected).
It was fun to be at a game again.
The last time I cheered on the USU football team
was before I had even met Eric.
And to top it off,
I somehow survived sitting outside
in 43 degree weather. Now we'll have to start checking off
winter sports and activities
on our list.
It's going to get cold real fast here.

Did you add going into the canyons to see the leaves before they are gone. That is one of Justin and I's favorite things. Alas this year we have not made it yet so hopefully there are still some not covered with snow.
