An Apple a Day...

The girls accompanied me yesterday to the backyard
where we picked up apples that had fallen
out of the tree and onto the ground.
They were really good to sit in the wagon with the apples
until that wagon got too full
at which time the girls moved to a second wagon.
I was really surprised to see that they held still for so long
until I realized what they were doing:
A taste-testing was going on
and the girls definitely approved of their treats.
Long after the apples were off of the ground
and we had moved on to other chores,
Vanessa was still munching on apples.
She just kept munching...
and munching...
and munching...
until the whole apple was gone--
skin, stem, core, seeds.
Everything was gone.

Cute little Vanessa! Knowing her appetite, I'm not suprised she ate the whole thing!

Their hats are adorable! I may need to learn how to make those.
