I decided quite a while ago that
I would make a special shirt for Savannah
to wear on her 3rd birthday (which is Monday).
We're celebrating with family tomorrow
which means it would be even more fun
if she wore her #3 shirt
at her party AND
on her birthday.
(I'll wash it in between, I promise.)
Well, I made the shirt a few weeks ago.
I patted myself on the back for doing it
so far in advance.
But tonight,
after doing yardwork, housework, grocery shopping,
baking, cooking, and taking care of 2 ornery girls,
I decided that I better sit down and finally make
something to match for her hair.
So here I sit at 11:18 p.m.
getting started on a colorful flower
for my sweet girl to wear on her birthday.
It's just what mothers do.
