We attended Eric's graduation on Friday.
We watched Eric walk across the stage to receive his degree
marked with such accessories as
3 Student of the Course awards,
22 Director List awards
and 12 Ford FACT certificates.
Savannah followed him right up to the podium
and politely escorted him through the line of faculty.
To top off the afternoon,
a special award was given out to one student in all of UTI,
only given two times throughout the year.
The Roger Penske Student Award is given to the one student who
displayed high academic achievement,
had a record as a team player and supporter of his fellow student
and was recognized as a student of the course.
This honor comes with a cash award too!
Guess who got it?!
Eric!!!
I am so happy that UTI realized and acknowledged
how hard Eric has worked for the last 21 months.
His paperwork will be submitted into a
pool of 9 students across the nation
for an even larger cash award.
Cross your fingers for him!
We celebrated with a luncheon at home
before Eric's parents headed back to Utah.
My parents and brother stayed to enjoy
our last weekend in Phoenix with us.
We've been to Claim Jumper, Hobby Lobby,
Cabella's, Cardinals Stadium, Dave and Busters
as well as a few other stops.
We're really going to miss living in Phoenix,
but are really excited to start another adventure.

The girls looked so cute in their new clothes. I love your dress too! Wow I didn't realize you had such a smart hubby. Congratulations to Eric!
We're so sad that you're leaving us, but we are so happy for you and Eric to be starting the next phase in life. Let us know how things are and we'll come to see you when we visit Utah next...Or you can come to your favorite destination, Tucson, to visit us. :)
