We all know that Savannah is adventurous.
She doesn't hesitate to climb and then jump
or do something her conscience might suggest is not a good idea.
She seems to always be covered with bruises.
Let's take a glimpse at her life so far:
Her first documented bruise wasn't too bad
although I thought I was a horrible mother when it happened.
I don't even remember how she got it.
Then came Halloween
where she biffed it on her way to the party.
A series of events led to these injuries:
Her ear met the entertainment center,
a fall off a park bench left her nose a little bent
and her chin a little scraped,
and a surfing lesson on a bike went wrong.
During a few different trips to grandma's house
Savannah found herself at the bottom of the stairs.
And throughout the last year
I think there have been no less than 10 bruises
decorating Savvy's legs at any given time.
Let's not forget her fall out of Vanessa's crib
and the subsequent purple cast.
Last week,
Savannah fell off of a bench outside of the church building.
All of the youth and leaders (except for me)
saw the accident
and were pretty concerned that she was okay,
which she was.
Just yesterday the bruise on her head and
the scab under her nose cleared up...
just in time for today's accident:
Savannah fell out of our SUV
and landed on the asphalt parking lot--
obviously her head hit first.
I promise that I supervise this kid
AND watch out for her safety.
She's just too adventurous for her own good.

Quite the history. I don't think Kaiya's ever had a bruise to take a picture of. She definitely needs to get more adventurous. I'll have to send her to your house to get some lessons from Savvy. She is a pro!
This bruise definitely looks the worse. Hope she heals quickly. She still is cute even with a bloody face!
She's definitely Eric's kid!
Oh man...I thought only my boys had bruises like that! Lots of kisses make those bruises not so bad!
OMG that is really sad!! Poor thing! She's gonna be quite the one to watch out for once she starts actually playing sports and whatnot!! LOL!
Poor Savannah! I hope she's okay! We can't wait to see you all again...and hopefully we won't be sporting new bruises of our own. :)
OUCH! The asphalt won it looks like! Ouch! Those eyes are so cute. She just like her adventurous mother. (at least that is what bwee tells me!)
