Another Camping Trip in the Books

We ventured off to the mountains this past weekend
to squeeze in one more vacation before lots of changes happen.Eric and David took the kids up all by themselves on Friday
and Breezy and I joined in on Saturday evening.
Rain, thunder and lightning accompanied us the whole weekend.Only one casualty occurred and believe it or not
it did not happen to Savannah.
Vanessa was the lucky one this time
falling down a few times and giving herself
a fat lip and bruised face.
She refused to walk on the ground for the remainder of the trip
but enjoyed sitting in the camp chairs or being carried around.Savannah and Dutch played to their hearts' content.
Rain nor mud stopped them.
They wandered through the forest, played games
and really liked being pulled around on mini 4-wheelers.We slept relatively well considering that
our whole family was on a queen-size air mattress.
Everyone was good to get extra dirty
although you can't really tell between the
dirt and bruises on Savvy's face.
We're going to miss camping in the mountains of Arizona.

Vanessa's hair is getting so long. I love it. Looks like you guys had a great time. Can't wait to go camping with you guys at Yellowstone in a few months!
