A slow week

The girls have been relatively healthy this week,
which is a big change from the past 3 months of our lives.
I don't really feel like I can say we are very healthy family
anymore since
someone is usually sick every week.
But because everyone was healthy--
we didn't go to a single doctor appointment
we had some extra time on our hands.
I busied myself with some crafting.
Vanessa has found a new favorite thing to do: read books.

You can find her at any time during the day
climbing up onto the blue chair to
pull down one book at a time.
She takes a few minutes to read it and then
tosses it aside for another one.
She is becoming quite the little dare devil
especially when the blue chair is a foot or two away
from the bookshelf and
she is still trying to reach books.
Only 10 more days until she is one.
Isn't she such a sweet little girl?!The girls and I are headed to cold cold cold Utah this weekend.
I'm not sure we're going to survive
especially because on Monday
we took our first swim of the season
in warm warm warm Phoenix.
The pool water was a bit chilly
but the girls had a blast splashing in the water.
Savannah's strong enough to learn how to swim this summer.
She doesn't hesitate one second to jump off of the steps.
Vanessa loved standing on the step and
splashing in the water. Can anyone guess who Vanessa got her beautiful blue eyes from?
