On a happier note... I just had to share these pictures because they crack me up. The other day I got 2 sticks of cheese out of the fridge for the girls to eat. While I was opening Savannah's cheese, Vanessa got a hold of the other one that still had the plastic on it. Apparently she was hungry!

On the road to recovery...
My little redhead has been very sick all weekend. She had a fever on and off for about a week but no other symptoms, so I didn't worry very much. On Friday, her fever shot up and wiped her out for the rest of the weekend. After a 103.6 degree peak and 3 1/2 hours in the Urgent Care on Saturday, we figured out that she had a severe urinary tract infection. She was completely lethargic and nothing we did would cool her body off. She just wasn't herself... she literally did not move for 3 days straight. It has taken over 2 days to get her rehydrated and her fever somewhat under control and now we're hopefully on the road to a complete recovery. We're thankful that every time we thought we should head out the door to the ER, things turned around a little bit. Savannah has been such a good sister to Vanessa despite being locked up in the house without very much attention. Hopefully Vanessa will be back to smiling soon!

So sorry to hear that poor Vanessa hasn't been feeling well. It makes me so sad to see little kids be lethargic. Hope she continues her recovery.
Poor baby Vanessa. Hope she gets better.
On a little note, did you know you can give kids ibuprophen and tylenol at the same time when they have bad fevers like that? With the two it helps to get the fevers down faster.
I'm glad she's doing better, that would have scared me so much!
Yup, Steph. Even with both medicines, she was still floating around 103 degrees. Poor kid.
She looks so sad in the second picture. Hopefully she'll be back to normal any time now.
That's not fun! But...she looks super cute in the last pic! Look at those eyes!
I hate to see when babies get so sick! Glad she is starting to feel better already.
SO SCARY! I hope she gets better really soon! Bless her heart. Love the cheese pictures! So funnny
