What's been happening at our house lately:
1. Our computer completely crashed. A virus attacked the virus scanner as well as a few other things, so we finally reformatted the entire computer to start over from scratch. It's been such a pain to have to reload software and applications, but we're slowly getting back to normal. So here's some advice to all you out there: Back Up Your Photos
Today!!! We didn't lose any pictures, thank goodness, but it reminded me to copy and save all of the photos that I have of my family more often.

2. Vanessa decided that her hairbrush is her favorite toy. She carries this thing around all day long, banging it on things and waving it in the air. Maybe if she gets some more hair, she can use it for its real purpose.

3. We're having a hard time with naps again. The girls aren't syncing up for nap time right now, so one of them usually ends up getting no nap or a nap on mom and dad's bed. On Sunday, after a long fight trying to get both girls to sleep, I took Vanessa out of the room and got her to fall asleep on my California-King size bed. I then proceeded to try and help Savvy get to sleep. So... when Eric came home, he found Savannah and me asleep in the toddler bed and Vanessa asleep in the big bed.

4. Vanessa's third tooth appeared a while ago, but it's really noticeable now.

5. Savvy decided to take matters into her own hands. If she wanted Vanessa to go somewhere, she just picked her up... It worked pretty well that the height Savvy picked Vanessa up was perfect for Vanessa to just stand up afterward. We curbed this habit really fast after Savvy picked up Vanessa by the neck.

6. It's almost swimsuit season here in Phoenix. Savvy was proud to show off her new swimsuit.

7. I was making breakfast this morning when Savvy opened the patio door and girls went outside (hence the crazy hair in the following pictures). This is what I found... anything wrong with this picture? Yes, that would be my little climber, Vanessa, hitching a ride on the trike. This could be dangerous... better be careful we don't break anything.

8. Wait, did I say break something? Have we done that yet? Oh yes... Savannah broke her arm today.

She's started a horrible habit of climbing into Vanessa's crib to play when she's supposed to be sleeping. She's a pro at climbing
in and
out. So when I went into the girls' room for the 2nd time today to tell Savvy to get back into her own bed, she threw her leg over the side of the crib and fell flat on her back. I picked her up right away thinking that she had hurt her head and tried to calm her down. She cried on and off for the next hour, but I just thought that she had a headache and I laid with her until she fell asleep. It wasn't until Eric came home and Savvy woke up that we realized that something was wrong. Another trip to Urgent Care helped us discover that she has a small fracture just above her left wrist. She's in a soft cast now and we'll see more doctors tomorrow hopefully. She's doing better now, but she won't allow anyone to touch or even look at her arm. Her big bandage is going to "make her arm feel better." This makes Savannah the first person in our family to break a bone, but I'm not holding my breath that it's the last.

I guess it was good that I didn't come over. With my luck Haylie would have been trying the climbing along with Savvy.
We hope she feels better and that she gets a cool cast in a fun color. LOL!
Your kids are awesome little dare devils! Vanessa is cute catching a ride...I do feel a bit responsible, I think it was Raylyn who showed Savvy how to climb in and out of the crib. Feel better soon Savvy, Love Raylyn:)
The pics of them on the bike are SO cute! And that is really sad about the arm break! :(
Poor thing!
I love the picture of Vanessa riding on the back of Savvy's trike. So cute. That's a bummer that Savvy broke her arm - I hope all goes well with the recovery.
yours girls are giving you a run for your money. It is a good thing they are so cute.
I feel your pain. Michael broke his arm and had to have a cast all the way up to his armpit. It was just before his 3rd birthday. These silly kids. Hang in there!

Little kids with broken bones is the worst. Poor girl.
This is too cute! You'll never believe, but yesterday, Paul said that as soon as he has his job secured, he wants a second. Yikes!
