Flashback

I caught Vanessa doing this today:

And it quickly reminded me of this from 2007:

Kids grow up way too fast. Hopefully Vanessa won't mind being my baby for a while longer. I'm not ready for her to be grown up!

Grandma saved the day last week by coming to Phoenix to play with us. Savannah made hundreds of towers with her out of blocks and they had a great outing together on Friday.

Vanessa slept the rest of her sickness away and seems to be pretty happy now. She's a little more attached to her mom and her thumb now, though, so we have to fix that. She developed a big appetite for solid food when she got better-- she'd sit in the high chair all day long if she could.
