Nothing Special...

There hasn't been too much excitement around here lately to blog about... which is something worth blogging about I guess. No crazy stories about Savvy so far this year and Vanessa isn't walking yet (thank goodness). We are enjoying our time reorganizing the house and playing with all of the toys we got for Christmas. My favorite would have to be "The Toddler Busy Book" that Eric gave to me. I've been wishing for it ever since I took it back to the library a little while ago. Eric is working away at school and getting ready to take some big tests. Savannah does not stop talking and has found new fascination with jumping on her bed. Vanessa loves cruising around the house, eating toes and pulling out computer cords.

My goal to craft more often was superseded by my obsessive urge to clean and organize everything I own. The pantry looks beautiful and the girls' room is rearranged and clean. My room is almost complete and then I'll make my way to the patio to clean up the storage closet. Hopefully I'll make myself sit down at the table to make a few things after that... So until something exciting happens, here are a few pictures for you to look at.

The monster hairdo we wake up to every morning.
Savannah got dressed and found a snack all by herself... quite the independent one. Check out all of those bruises on her legs. I honestly have no idea where they come from.
Vanessa is working on eating more solid food. She hates baby food and loves nursing a little too much.

Savannah carries her Christmas blanket around all day long and calls it her "special blanket." It makes me feel good inside every time she says it!! Thanks to my sisters and mom for helping me finish Savvy's. With the extra squares, I made two small "lovees" for Vanessa to use in the car or when we're out of the house.
Here are a few of the Christmas gifts I worked on... I didn't get pictures of everything.
I made 2 of these:
5 of these:Here's a glipse of what's inside:
I also made 8 memory books, 3 collages and... I think that's all in the homemade department. I better get started on 2009's gifts.

Next time you're here we have to get together. Don't you guys want to move back to Utah? It's your favorite time of year - ha ha ha. Anyway, I hope you had a great day. You deserve it!!!
