Feeling Alright?

I spent all day yesterday cleaning my house. I did ALL the laundry including sheets. I also went to the grocery store and stocked the fridge and pantry. I did all of this with the intention of spending today and really the rest of the week finishing up projects.

Well, Savannah threw up in my bed this morning. After I cleaned that up, I went into the girls' room to see if Vanessa was awake yet and found her still asleep, covered in her own throw-up. When she got up I gave her a bath... and while she was in the tub, Savannah threw up the water she had been drinking. With Vanessa cleaned up, I started giving Savvy a bath. Then I cleaned Vanessa's bed and put all the towels and sheets in the laundry. Vanessa decided to throw up again all over herself, me and the couch. After another bath and change of clothes, Savvy decided to throw up again... but this time she only needed a new shirt to wear. Now we're hanging out watching cartoons, sitting and laying on towels.

I may not finish all of my Christmas presents this year.

Oh my goodness! Talk about the craziest throw up routine! Poor babies I hope they feel better. I hope you get to rest from doing the laundry and cleaning up all the throw up! What a great mom you are!

Yuk! We had that over Thanksgiving weekend and then last week we got hit with whatever we had. There is nothing worse than having a sick kid, not to mention two of them. No fun!

You poor thing... One day, you're Supermom, the next you're Dr. Mom. Us mom's should have PhD's in order to do what we do! Good luck, I hope the girls get feeling better.

I hate laundry. Dealing with barfing kids is always such a strange thing. You want to cuddle them and make them feel comfortable, but at the same time don't want them barfing all over you or the furniture/carpet/blankies that just finished drying from the last barf. I sure hope you and Eric don't catch the stomach bug too.

You poor thing. I so know what you're going through. I hope it is only a 12-24 hour bug and that you won't have to deal with it for very long. Hopefully you and Eric won't end up with it.

I'm so sorry - at least that kind of sickness doesn't last very long. But when you're in the moment, and washing the third load of throw-up towels, it seems like it's never going to end. Just a tip - I found that letting the kids sip on Pedialyte helps their stomach to settle. Good luck on getting all your projects done.
