Take this last week for example. I was totally stressed figuring out my new calling and getting prepared for Sunday meetings, a fireside and mutual this week. Granted I have a lot of help, but I was still quite stressed about it. But before I could sit down and think, I had to take care of an undying need to clean up and organize my scrapbooking and craft supplies. And so... on Wednesday, I pulled everything out of the closet, obviously making an even bigger mess, and got to work. I even took a "before" picture:

What a mess...
I have a wonderful disease that I inherited from my mother. I don't think it has a name... it is the desire to do unneeded projects at ridiculous times, especially when there are many other things that need to be done.
Take this last week for example. I was totally stressed figuring out my new calling and getting prepared for Sunday meetings, a fireside and mutual this week. Granted I have a lot of help, but I was still quite stressed about it. Here's my "after" picture. Definitely a big change. Now all of my paper is in one spot, all of my sewing stuff is in one spot, and my cricut is easy to get to. Once the closet was cleaned up, I had to clean the rest of my house before I could do anything else. Now I'm ready to think about other things, or at least I am until I need to clean my house again.
I didn't realize how much paper I had until it was all in one spot. Won't be needing to buy any of that for a while.
Speaking of thinking: all Savannah can think about is watching movies lately. I try really hard to not let her watch them often because she acts horrible throughout the rest of the day-- somehow being lazy for one hour makes her rotten. As soon as she wakes up in the morning, she is begging to watch mermaid, bugs or cars. This is usually how I see her:
Note in the picture-- she just got out of the bathtub and is still wearing her towel, yet she already has my high heals on and has started begging for mermaid. I think I may remove all the movies from the shelf one night and replace them with her books (even though the books are directly underneath the movies right now). I'm sure that will go over well.

I really need to know the name of that disease, because I sooooo have it too! I totally do stupid projects that I don't HAVE to do, when there are other things that are so much more "pressing". It's retarded and I hate it but I can't stop...is there a rehab facility for this; cause I've got it bad! ;)
I too have to have everything clean and in order before I can start any project. I know...issues. Just glad to know I'm not alone now.
At least your scrapbooking is organized. Now you have no excuse not to get working on it!
I like your new blog look!
Great job organize. I really need to get my house in order.
I love the picture of Savvy with her movie. That is too funny. She cracks me up every time I see a picture of her.
Good for you for cleaning out that closet. I recently did the same thing with my scrapbooking closet, and I love looking at it, I actually don't want to touch anything because it looks so beautiful. You've got a lot on your plate these days, good luck with everything!
