Vanessa sleeps perfectly now... she's consistently slept for 11 hours each night this week. But, in getting rid of the binkie, I also got rid of any chance of her drinking out of a bottle. She wouldn't eat anything while a friend watched her yesterday and then it took me over an hour to get just an ounce of milk into her once she was starving. Oops. Thank goodness she's such a happy baby.

Binkie Update
We've cured both girls of the binkie. Savvy has only asked for it once or twice and when I remind her that it's broken, she makes sure that I remember that I'm a mean mother. She only cries for a few minutes at night once she's put to bed. Once she gets over that, we'll work on sleeping in a real bed. I'm not sure if I'm ready for that, but I also would like Vanessa to start sleeping in the girls' room.

I snipped Jacks binkie, or "boppy" as he calls it on Tuesday due to tantrums as well. He seems to be adjusting fine, but it still so cute when he uses his sad voice and says, "mommy, boppy?" and I have to remind him we said bye bye to boppy.
Your a great mom! That picture of Vanessa is the cutest thing I've ever seen. That was smart to get rid of both binkies at once. I'm glad they are both adjusting.
Way to go Jenny! That is such a huge feat to break the binky. And Vanessa is sleeping too? You have accomplished a lot, you should feel proud. Want to potty train Natalie while you are on a roll?
