We've had lots of visitors this weekend. Grandma Nielsen flew into town on Thursday afternoon to meet Vanessa and Grandpa Nielsen came in Friday night. Savvy has especially been loving the extra attention. We love having family visit!
Vanessa is 5 weeks old now. She's been quite fussy this weekend and we had a few episodes of screaming crying for no reason. She seems to be doing better now, though. I laid her on the floor this evening and she just laid there and kicked her legs for 20 minutes. She just needed some time to herself I guess.

Here is a rare picture of Eric awake. He's worked so hard lately that every time he would sit down with the baby, he would fall right asleep.
We ventured over to Encanto Park on Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa and Savannah absolutely loved it. She'd never really been on any rides before but she hopped right onto every single one and had a blast. She would concentrate so hard on the ride while it was going, though, that she would never smile until it was over. We'll definitely go there again... 
Tomorrow is the big day for Eric. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and a quick recovery will follow. We're very thankful that Grandma is here to help out. Only 6 more days until our California vacation (I better get to work!)

Isn't it so ironic that sometimes when you just want to comfort you sad baby and they just stay upset, but as soon as you lay them down they are content. Good for you that she enjoyed her time on the floor. Haylie was a total floor baby.
I am sure Eric is st the hospital now. Thinking of you guys.
It looks like you had so much fun. How nice to have extra help from Grandma. I can't believe the pictures of Savvy, she looks so big. How fun.
Savvy looked like she had the best time. We haven't been to that park, I guess I better take Brin sometime.
