The house is ready: floors vacuumed, furniture dusted, bathrooms scrubbed, toys picked up, everything organized. The girls' room is ready: clothes are washed, newborn diapers are stocked, car seat is clean. Mom is ready: clothes don't fit, belly has dropped. Savvy and Dad are ready: sick of dealing with mom.
Now if only the baby was ready. She's almost there... and she'll probably be ready when it's least convenient for grandma to come and help out (which happens often to grandma Peterson). Maybe she's offended that we haven't figured out her name yet. Until then I guess I'll have to find some other projects to do or just clean over and over again.
And just for kicks, here's Savannah at 2 days old in her car seat:

And here she is at 18 months:

I can't believe we're going to have a teeny-tiny baby in our home again soon!

those pictures are adorable! Good luck with the delivery of your little one! I hope it comes soon for you! It is so different to have another little one around. Mine don't start very little, but it is still different. They just grow so fast!
Can't believe you are going to have two little ones "running" around soon. That is so exciting! I know it seems like a long time to you, but I can't believe that you are already going to have this baby. We are so excited!!! Another baby to add to the list of cousins!
Isn't it fun to be all ready and waiting? Of course you'd be organized before the baby even thought of coming. I hope she comes soon!
Oh, my, those last few weeks and days get LOOONG don't they!! it'll be here and gone before you know it! Savvy is adorable - they get big way too fast!
I think Alyssa is a great name I bet if you chose that she would come quick. J/K. I am very excited for you and can't wait to see pics of the new addition.
Too bad you don't get snow - that's what helped for me with Porter...
I hate it when there's nothing left to do but wait. It makes each day go by so slow. Regardless, we're anxious for your phone call!
I am glad you called me to watch Savannah. Sorry I made it so eventful. BUT she is ALWAYS welcome. It will be easier the more she gets used to us and especially when Haylie is awake to play with.
