Back to normal

The month of October has flown by and we haven't even been home for most of it. We just returned last night from Utah. Sadly, my grandmother passed away on October 18th after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Savannah and I flew up to Utah and spent last week in Logan with family. We were happy to be able to stay with Matt, Amanda and Baby Kate for a few days and play with them (Thanks for having us!). Savvy has become pretty social and enjoyed being around all of her cousins.

Watching Grandpa. Look at that little belly sticking out of her!!! All dressed up with Baby Kate.

Porter and Savvy. She could roll right into the bouncy seat... sometimes her head got stuck trying to climb out.
On Friday, we picked up Eric from the airport and headed to Herriman to spend some time with his family. I think Savannah really missed her dad... we've been away from him a lot lately.

Playing with Natalie and Braden.
And on Saturday... (drum roll, please), Chad came home!!! Savvy was finally able to meet her Uncle Chad, who returned home from the Texas McAllen mission. We're so excited to have him home and be able to hang out with him (or really for now, talk to him on the phone from Phoenix). Congrats on a successful mission, Chad!

I'm glad Savvy could finally see her dad again, it looks like you had a great time seeing Chad. We enjoyed having you guys next time we'll come to your house to play.
