Birthday Celebration

We had a super fun time this weekend celebrating Savannah's birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Peterson and Uncle Dan. Savannah didn't really want to open her presents, although she liked them once they were opened. She noticed the cake, but when we put her in her high chair to devour a big piece, she cried and didn't eat a single bite. She had frosting on her face only because I stuck her hand in the cake and then she rubbed her eyes in frustration. Oh well... maybe we'll give her a whole cake to tear apart when she's two. Thanks for all those who called and sent birthday wishes!

Playing new musical instruments.
Looking at her cake... she didn't really care about it too much. I thought I had been teaching her to love sweets like I do.

With Uncle Dan-- and wearing her fancy feather boa that Grandma got for her.

I threw in a family picture just because it's not that often that there's an extra person to take a picture of all of us.

As happy as can be with Uncle Dan.
